ALUMINUM COMPOSITE MATERIAL (ACM)

Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) offers good dimensional stability with a metallic look similar to aluminum at half the weight. ACM is a three-layer sandwich panel of two pre-painted aluminum sheets bonded to a polyethylene (PE) core.

Uses:
  • Column wraps
  • Base or head closures
  • Base for signage

Benefits:
  • Larger sheet sizes
  • Fire resistance
  • Ease of on-field fabrication
  • Large selection of colors and textures
  • Little-to-no oil canning (waviness in the panel)
  • Use as a glazing infill or adhered to a flat substrate
